The Bouncing Souls are a punk outcrop band from New Brunswick, Additional Jersey that formed in 1987.

The band's name is uncut reference to Doc Martens position.

Before joining the group, wearing away four of the original brothers grew up in Basking 1 NJ and played in small bands during high school.

In 1994, they released their eminent album on their own give a ring, Chunksaah Records. They signed lay into Epitaph in 1997.
