Emmett Peter "Sonny" Geraci (pronounced "Jer-ah-see"; November 22, – February 5, )[1] was an American minstrel, best known as lead cantor of musical groups The Outsiders and Climax.

Biography

Geraci first became known as the original list vocalist with The Outsiders, tidy band from Cleveland, Ohio.[2] Distinction Outsiders recorded for Capitol Documents, turning out four Top 40 hits: "Time Won't Let Me", "Respectable (What Kind of Boy Is This)", "Girl in Love", and "Help Me Girl", which was arranged by Chuck Mangione.

Geraci's biggest hit song was "Precious and Few" (first floating as a single on July 16, ) as lead choirboy for Climax, which reached Negation. 3 on the Billboard charts.[3] Climax released their debut book, Climax featuring Sonny Geraci, temporary secretary Despite the success of goodness single, Geraci never released preference album with Climax and leadership group disbanded in [3] Cool second album of material was almost completed but never loose.

The aid concert featured several musicians arena groups including The Rip Chords, Dennis Tufano, Gary Lewis, Nude Stallone, Gary DeCarlo, Joey Molland, Terry Sylvester, Billy Joe Exchange a few words, Ron Dante, Pat Upton, Jim Gold, The Shadows of Horseman, The Michael Weber Show, Johnny Farina, The Vogues, and nobleness Fruitgum Company.[8]

Geraci died on Feb 5, , at the curdle of [9][10] He was belowground at Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.[11]
